In a land of poverty, Christ’s hope shines…

In the summer of 2009, God changed my life when He led me on a short-term mission trip to Roatan, Honduras for the first time. Now, in 2015, God is allowing me to go back to Roatan to start my second year teaching there!

This website is designed to provide you with information regarding the ministry God has allowed me to be a part of with Missionaries Mark & Susan Schuler ( God has used so many people to make it possible for me to be in Roatan through their prayers, support, and encouragement. God is doing amazing things in Honduras. I invite you to be involved or stay involved through prayer and however God leads. Thank you for your interest!

About the ministry…

Roatan, Honduras is an island off of the coast of Honduras where Missionaries Mark & Susan Schuler moved to over 10 years ago. Through this time, God has allowed them to start a Baptist church and a Christian school on one part of the island.

Roatan is a land of poverty, physically, as well as, spiritually and academically. However, in the midst of it all, God has allowed this church and school to be a light, and in it has saved and discipled many lives.

Having the opportunity to work with the students in this school will forever be one of the greatest joys of my life. The younger students accept your love, learn about salvation, and love learning. The older students desire to please God with all aspects of their lives, are starting to understand that the hard lives they have are being made into beauty by their Creator, and are extremely teachable.

This year, due to offering more classes in the school, the ministry is going to expand to more people on Roatan. 2015 is going to be an exciting year! “O taste and see that the Lord is good…” Psalm 34:8

Thank you for visiting the site! Please take a look around, and don’t forget to check back for updates and prayer requests. I appreciate your prayers and support more than I could ever express!
